NEVER! Scam, scam, scam. Giant, Trek, Specialized, Cannondale, and others do not allow any online sales.

    Walk away. Now.

Ummm...you have the word "scams" in your search string. Of course scam and fraud is going to be prominent.

But I would not trust any online Indonesian bike sales.

Try to "order" a bike and your options are limited to bank transfer/western union payment. Try to get your money back when you don't get the bike. Getting a new bike for half of retail sounds too good to be true because it is too good to be true.

Buying a used bike from a reputable source or working with your LBS is the safest way to get a "deal".

I've edited for you, but that link shows there's a lot discussions/reports about scams/fraud from these so called 'online Indonesian Bike Shops'.
I've never heard of anyone who has actually bought and received a bike from one of these 'online Indonesian bike shops' but there's a lot reports of people who have lost their money from these scammers.

It's a bit of an oxymoron calling there places 'bike shops'.
