Any opinions on Fezzari bikes? Thinking of this Wiki Peak for $1149 shipped

Well I still haven't pulled the trigger on a new bike yet. Any opinions on Fezzari? Very beautiful looking bikes I must say! Do they perform as good as they look?

    They get decent reviews

Do a google search, and you'll see they get decent reviews. If you're considering buying direct from mfr, a couple hundred more dollars, and you'll get a bike with a much nicer component spec:

IBEX Bicycles. Mountain Bikes 29ers hardtails full suspension carbon fiber.

    Due Dilegence

List the components, frame, source, availability, after purchase service warranty issues you can make a logical decision. For myself, Fezzari won. I like my Cascade Peak and If I have a problem or question I can call or stop by. I am local so I get local support as well as local shop for service and questions. As for Ibex, link does not work so source would be at risk for me. Good luck in your pursuit.

Fezzari seems to offer a good component set for the price.

That IBEX Asta Expert goes for $1499+shipping. How would you compare it, component wise to the $1549 shipped Fezzari Abajo Peak?

Good job! One more for the Asta

If you've read the specs on both, there is only one conclusion you can come to, and thats the fact that the Asta has the better component spec.

    For instance:

The Reba fork hands down over the XC 30 TK
The Monarch shock over the Ario
The X9 shifters over the Deore
The WTB Speeddisc wheelset over the Formula/Alex
FSA Cockpit components over generic Fezzari

Can't comment on the differences between the Elixir brake models on the two bikes or their respective cranksets, so that's something that you'd have to assess yourself.

Bottome line, you need to decide for yourself, but I did want to point out what I believe to be the facts regarding the component specs on the respective bikes.

Best wishes in choosing the right ride for you!

    Looks like a good set-up

This set up does look pretty good. Good find.

How about comparing the similar priced ABAJO-Peak to the Asta's components instead of the Wiki-Peak?
