Any issue with using a 140mm fork on 150mm frame?

    Hi guys!

Almost bought myself a 2011 Yeti 575 frame, but have been advised that I need forks with 150 - 160mm of travel.

I currently have a set of 2011 Fox 140 RLC, does 10mm really make that much difference?

    Thanks for your time!

    D~

Huge difference, the bike may not ride straight

No, it's all good, you should not have any problem running 140.

I can definitely feel quicker handling on a bike I switched to a lower fork.

It didn't destroy it or anything, though. Get a headset with a tall stack height and a fat front tire, and be happy.

Or if it feel too steep you can try the 7mm Ventana race it should help slacken the HA a bit.
