    90's Klein Pinnacle

I recently acquired a 90's era Klein Pinnacle. It came with original Shimano Deore XT, Lx and DX parts. & speed sis thumb shifters with XT headset, seat post and pedals. Just want to know its value since I am letting my 14 yo use it, or should I just build him another one and keep this one in safe keeping.

Its not really going to be valuable to anyone except retro-types that know about older bikes. Post this over in the vintage/retro forum and see what they say. I say let him ride it..better than collecting dust. It looks to be set up as a commuter - love that stem and the thumbies..looks to be early '90s.

    Here's a rough estimate.

Listing Detail - Bicycle Blue Book

    ...wondering how accurate it is.

Sounds about right to me. As for accuracy, its only worth what someone will pay you for it so if someone will pay you ~$250...that's it.
