    3M tape/ protective tape

Anyone have any suggestions on where to find some cheaply priced clear protective tape?

Like 3M has for cable rub.

    Target, walmart, Home Depot, Lowes?

Try a local Auto Parts store. They should have clear protective film

Search the interweb for "helicopter tape".

I had trouble finding some too. I wanted a decent amount for several bikes, and found Expel that sells it by the foot. I got the "paint protection", standard, by the foot. It's working well.

    Have fun!

Your LBS should have the little stick ons that are great for cable rub.

I buy mine from this place: http://aircraftpaintprotection.net/c...1e90af7e5bf9eb

It is the stuff made for aircraft and not automobiles so it doesn't have a hardcoat... Which makes it easier to install as you can stretch it. The brand is Ventureshield which is now made by 3M and it's fairly thick. It will have a very slight yellow tint if you put it on a white frame.

I'll ask 'em about it. Thanks.
