New question here. 26" wheels on 29r frame ??

so im looking to buid a bike from my IBIS MOJO parts.. found one of the sickest frames ive ever seen (Niner jet 9 rdo) .. just found out its a 29r frame... i dont have 29 wheels and dont want to sell mine and have to buy new wheels/fork etc.. to make it work.. so would the 26" wheels look/work fine on the 29r frame ?
    thanks

Did you try Google or search here?

Lower bottom bracket height and longer stays then needed.

takeoff wheelsets are usually very cheap because that is often one of the first upgrades people do. Lots of time people dont even bother to post them because they dont sell. Post that you are looking for a wheelset on craigslist and you can prob get one cheap. On my local bike forum you could probably even get them for free.

Bikewagon seems to be a good source for new, low price wheels. They're an eBay fixture but have an online store, too.
