2010 Stumpjumper FSR Comp Frame $850 reasonable?

    Hi All,
I just wanted to sanity check before I go through with a purchase.

Is $850 shipped reasonable for a 2010 Stumpjumper FSR Comp Frame, shock & headset?

Looks to be in good condition from pictures and seller comments but I'm obviously taking a bit of a risk buying without being able to actually inspect it.

    What do you think?

    Thanks,
    Matt

im thinking that is a little high for a frame but prices in your area might differ greatly from my area i found some 2010 fsr sj comp's on line complete used for 1200.00
i just bought a 2013 stumpjumper fsr comp demo bike that had 30 miles on it for 2000.00 out the door with warranty and tune ups. if it were me i would try to get them lower on the price.

Seems high to me. It's quite a bit older, but last year I paid $320 shipped for an '04 FSR 120 frame. The pierced seat tube casting on my '04 is actually quite a bit more complex (=$$) to make than the simple rocker link of the '10 model. I don't really see any new value in the newer frame, just places where they cut costs.

I do love the look of this bike:

    Thanks for the reply's.

I just went ahead and bought it, might have over paid a bit but I'm sure it'll ride great and serve me well for the next few years.

seat_boy, that linkage is totally wild looking.

Build turned out really nice. 140mm Rockshox Pike fork from a Pitch Pro and and X7/X9 drivetrain. The short wheel base and steepish head angle make it awesomely flickable.
