Worst full suspension design I have ever ridden. Rear end bounces like a pogo stick and under braking it is the definition of Brake Jack. Rear suspension extends fully while the fork compresses and catapults you over the bars.

IMHO...let this one go, your better off with a hardtail

I had a 1999 Gary Fisher Joshua F4. With a remote rear lock-out shock (RockShox Deluxe) it wasn't that bouncy for me. I pretty much kept it in lock-out mode all the time, though. I took all of the parts and built up a hardtail bike and it suits me much better for the trails I ride.

I had a friend tell me in the past that a full suspension bike was unnecessary unless you're bombing downhill (FS is heavier and ascents are harder due to pedal bob). I only ride XC on trails (wooded area and some open field) and I couldn't be happier with the conversion to a hardtail.
