Both bikes are advertised at $400 cad. Norco owner yet to get back to me, communication with Rockhopper guy is pretty good. Rockhopper guy puts this in ad though "the frame has scratches on it, and the front rim is just a little off true". That worries me slightly, also puts "No longer has a front derailleur, and only has the smaller of the two front sprockets, but i can include the big ring if you want it.". Told me to make it a 24 speed again I will need ne front deraileur. Oh, the rockhopper's fork was upgraded to a 2002 Marzocchi DJ bombers w/ 100mm travel.
Haven't heard from th Norco guy yet, but claims it to be in good shape. From the picture he has (not of real bike but off the net) it has DJ3's with a 20mm through axel.
Also can get a 2002 Devinci Hucker with Rock shox Phsylo's. Wants $450 cad.
What do you guys think? Both are same size, I am 5'9, 160lbs, looking for something good for djing. I think the Norco looks like the better bike but wanna know what you guys say.
