Thanks.

That is a pricy frame, the complete bike is about 1200.00 how about a P2 complet few hun more new http://www.mtbr.com/reviews/Freeride_Hardtail/product_123456.shtml
Don't know where there is one around here. I live in Canada (Guelph, Ontario) and I don't think you could get a new p2 for that here. My local shop is supposed to get in some Azonic steelheads and some other dj/urban frames at the end of feb. Oranges seem to be really expensive here because they're from England (alot of the local shops are pricy)

I dindn't go for it. The lowest he would go was $600 cad and I figured that was too much (and he was also taking too long). So today I went to one of my local shops and bought a brand new Fireeye Spitfire XV1 frame for $425. They seem to be a small unknown comapany but apparently make good stuff. I also picked up a Fireeye Talon stem and Fire bar. It's nice stuff. I plan to slowly build up a dj/street bike :) .

Looks like some sweet stuff, that rear axle adjusting system is pimp! The extra gusset under the bars is over kill but hay you dont have to wory about bending or breaking them. Have fun building you sweet new bike, post some pics on the DH/FR site when your done with the build.
Yeah the extra gusstets under are a bit bizarre I thought, but I wanted a matching stem/bar combo and the nicest ones happened to be the Fire eye. Thanks! :D

I'm trying to order a couple more parts- Sun rim front with DT swiss 14g spokes and Dirty player hub, Maxxis hookworm tires and FireEye the grills pedals. Here's a pic of someone else's built up (like I said on the Pinkbike forum, the Minute fork is a strange choice)

if the pic doesn't work, here's a link- http://vpfree.pinkbike.com/bb/viewtopic.php?t=114152

yeah, today I bought an Avid BB7 rear mechanical disc brake and two (I plan to run a front as well) speed dial 7 levers, they were a pretty good deal ( the rear brake was $105 and the levers were $45 Canadian a set, the Juicy 7's are about $395 here each with lever). I also got a front 20 mm thru-axle Sun Rim double track mounted with Maxxis Holy roller tire and maxxis dh tubes. The rear rim and tires are coming near the end of Feburary. I can't wait to finish the bike. :)

I know they seem nice....... believe me I can't wait to finish building this bike. I'll probably get a Marzocchi DJ series fork or a Rockshox pike (probably the former though), Sram X7, 8 or 9 rear derailier and shifters, Raceface Evolve single ring cranks (or possibly Holzfellers) and i've got some other Raceface stuff lying around. I'll try to post pics as soon as I can.
