    £1000 oddball challenge!

Hello you sultans of the forum

I ask you not to judge but offer the benefit of your passion.

I have a nicely built, modernised, Maverick ML7 as my main ride but, because Iím weak, I also have a £1000 cycle2work voucher burning a hole in pocket.

Itís for Halfords only BUT they will order in at request. The downside is that it has to be something at RRP not a back of the shop 2012 bargain.

    So here is the question:

What are the best 2 hardtails you can buy for a bag of sand?

1 could be a head choice, like a Cube or similar and the 2nd should be a heart choice.

Iíve never had a Zaskar (I know £1000 wonít get me much and the USA built bikes are better etc) but Iíd also love to hear of any oddball recommendation out there as well.

Any feedback greatly received as always.

Can they order something in from On-One?

Cycle Scheme - Yeah - the pricing is all over the place, but so are we...

edit again...On-One don't accept Halfords vouchers
    I see hills.

    I want to climb them.

Apparently halfords will order a bike in that you want if they don't stock it...

    The 456 looks pretty tidy...
