1. The most important thing about buying a new bike is to make sure it fits. The only way you'll know if the bike is right for you is to size up the bike and make sure that the bike's geometry matches your body's geometry. Ask questions and do some research.

2. If possible, try to find a shop that will let you demo the bike on real dirt. Five minutes in a parking lot won't cut it. You wouldn't buy a car without a real world test drive, and a bike should be no different.
3. Don't belive the hype. Just because your favorite rider or best friend rides a certain bike, that doesn't mean that's the best one for you. Have an open mind and be realistic about your needs and ability.

Will these wheels fit my bike?

Hello, I've been having a few problems with wheel choice.

I am looking at these wheels: Fulcrum red power SL, (please google them and its the first link, Im too new to be able to post a link sorry)

But not sure if the "oversized axle" will fit my frame?

I'm a beginner, and don't fully understand it.

My previous wheels had a 10mm axle.

I also have a Kona Blast 2006 if that helps.

    Thanks!

    Daniel

As long as you have a QR or 15mm thru-axle front fork then you're fine there and as long as you can choose the correct options for your rear wheel which I am assuming will be 135mm wide QR then you won't have an issue. I don't see any purchasing options, so I am not sure what is actually being sold.
Don't you hate it when a sentence doesn't end the way you think it octopus?
