1. The most important thing about buying a new bike is to make sure it fits. The only way you'll know if the bike is right for you is to size up the bike and make sure that the bike's geometry matches your body's geometry. Ask questions and do some research.

2. If possible, try to find a shop that will let you demo the bike on real dirt. Five minutes in a parking lot won't cut it. You wouldn't buy a car without a real world test drive, and a bike should be no different.
3. Don't belive the hype. Just because your favorite rider or best friend rides a certain bike, that doesn't mean that's the best one for you. Have an open mind and be realistic about your needs and ability.

What is the best saddle bag to buy? Fizik/ Lezyne?

    Hey Everyone,

I ride a lot and I have on both my Mt and Road bikes a Fizik saddle in which I purchased one of their saddle bags however with the weight of items it pops off every so often and I am tired of worrying about it while I ride.

I was thinking about going with a lezyne saddle bag but I am looking for something really good and dont mind paying extra money. Thanks again for the help

you remember that girl you dated on and off in college? she was your go-to pal for off the wall movies and sarcastic humor, or a hole in the wall concert for an obscure band that nobody's hear of. she introduced you to strange ass cultural foods and helped you with your classwork and got along with all your other friends, even that one A-hole. she had a nice figure and was pretty, but she wasn't exactly sexy.

so you blew her off when someone sexier came along next semester. this redhead fell into the insanely hot category of redhead. being with her was like a parody of a rom com, always smiling and lovey dovey. and then one day you realized she was a complete idiot.

so you went back to your good ol pal. she was gracious and willing. she had an appreciation for you only your mother shared and you took it at face value.

until that chick with the tattoo joined your intramurals team. this one had attitude and was super athletic. she could play with the boys and beat most of them at almost everything, all the while sporting a ponytail and little more than a sports bra and........ that tattoo. she loved rock climbing in mexico and could drink you under the table. at home? O M Fing G
then one day this one left you for a rugby player.

    until..........

    you get the idea.

quit screwing around with the gimmicky eye catchers. buy a jandd, be faithful, and never be disappointed.
