Using Hayes adaptors with Shimano XT rotors and calipers?

    Hi There ,

Just want to check this out to make sure it will work . Going to swap my hayes 9s for shimano xt brakes and rotors . Will I need to get shimano adaptors or can I leave the hayes adaptors on?As long as the new rotor is the same size then it will be ok right ?

You will likely need Shimano adapters. There are some 3rd party adapters that "go both ways", but if what you have is Hayes, you probably need to change them.

Jenson's got 'em as well as a pretty good explanation...(here)...
