Hi all I just need some advise on a older trek 800 sport moutain trail bike. I found out that it is an older (1995?) bike through research on the net(one of the oldest that were built I think)
I bought it at a pawn shop for 80.00 and seemed like a good deal at the time. They have a thirty day warrenty/ exchange policy and some other cool bikes. I may get a more expensive bike that is newer or has more features.
Here is the problem I recentlly noticed the rear hub has play in it. I do not notice too much while riding only sometimes problems changing gears. Is the rear hub wearing out? Is it a repair or replace job?? What about cost for either repair or replace? Should I get names of other bikes on display at the pawn shop for your info and my assistance, in selecting a better bike? I am 1 week into the thirty day warrenty.
Yes I know its not new and its a cheap bike, but its the best bike I have ever had.
Let me know what other info you need on the bike thanks in advance.
