Spoke came out, won't screw back in..

So I was doing a few jumps..then the next day when I'm doing basic maintenance, I found that some spokes on the rear wheel have become really loose. One of them was so loose that I could pull it out of the nipple. I have tightened most of them up, but the one that came out of the nipple won't screw back in. I am turning the nipple with the tool but nothing is happening.

    Am I doing something wrong?

Most likely the threads on the nipple are stripped. Replace the nipple.
