Need help with a new bike!

So I have just gotten into mountain biking and started with a wal-mart bike... and after that failing me to many times i've been on the look for a new bike. I found a Norvara Ponderosa at my local pawn shop for 230 dollars and i'm wondering if I should go for it or not. Any help?

If its in as good condiditon as the one in the pictures, then for the money, that looks like to be a decent deal. Not a deal breaker, but it looks like the bike in the picture has v-brakes. They will still stop you. If money is tight, then go for it. That bike will def be better than a wal mart POS. Happy riding
