1. The most important thing about buying a new bike is to make sure it fits. The only way you'll know if the bike is right for you is to size up the bike and make sure that the bike's geometry matches your body's geometry. Ask questions and do some research.

2. If possible, try to find a shop that will let you demo the bike on real dirt. Five minutes in a parking lot won't cut it. You wouldn't buy a car without a real world test drive, and a bike should be no different.
3. Don't belive the hype. Just because your favorite rider or best friend rides a certain bike, that doesn't mean that's the best one for you. Have an open mind and be realistic about your needs and ability.

    My 1st summer of biking!

Here it is!! Thanks to everyone at the MTBR forum who answered my questions and helped me make the decision to buy this bike. So this summer consisted of: Almost 4 teeth lost (Different bike) Which prompted me to get the Camber. 3 pinch flats, 2 bent rims, 2 broken tripod mounts, A lot of scrapes and cuts, 1 lost shin guard, 4 times lost in the woods, 2 shredded handlebar grips, 1 lost bike computer, and a TON of FUN!!!! It was an awesome first summer of mountain biking. Even with all the falls I took and stuff I broke, it was such a rush to rip down the trails. I cant wait until next June!

Get that front brake hose routed on the inside of the fork, not the outside.

That was a good video, I enjoyed watching it. Keep it up, as you ride more you will hopefully have less wrecks and wont have to buy any more tripods, lol.
