    Help choosing headset and stem

I wasn't real sure where to put this so I figured the Beginner's Corner is as safe a place as any.

I have an old frame with 1 1/4 Evolution size head tube. The front shock isn't working. I happen to have an RST Gila I replaced on my primary bike and I'd like to install it on the old bike just so I can have a second bike when I try and get other people to ride with me. I need help picking out the new parts as I don't know squat.

    I figure I need

    1. Head tube reducer
    2. Threadless Headset
    3. Threadless Stem w/ 25.4 mm handlebar clamp.
    4. Headset spacers.

I found the head tube reducers at cambriabike.com at a fairly reasonable price.

I'd like to get the other parts there to save on shipping and keep everything in one order. What I really need help in choosing is the headset and the stem. I don't know what's good and what's not. I'm trying not to spend too much money, but at the same time I don't want cheap crap. Please help!

Look at Cane Creek for headsets, they have a number of models.
