Hi.
I came across the team XTC frame on eBay for cheap, the seller has more for sale aswell has a lot of positive feedback. Is this for real? Any one have experience with the the seller or ideas on how to judge the legitimacy of the seller?

Giant...yes, 2007...NO WAY!!!

Well, for one thing, the 2007 XTC Team frame is a carbon composite frame, not aluminum. So the claims of it being a 2007 team frameset is bogus. Also, Giant has also used fluid formed gussets on their aluminum frames for a couple of years (see picture), not welded gussets like the ones shown in the picture. And last, 1503grams is a reasonable weight...but is not a superlight weight that one would expect from a team frame.

Conclusion...It is most likely a Giant made frame...and probably a team frame from several years ago. It is not, however a 2007 XTC Team frame.

Honestly, for the price of the frame and shipping, there are better deals out there such as these:

My favorite is this one:

Hong Kong Frame?

Giant does have slightly different variations of their products based on the country. The auction is a Hong Kong auction. Could very well be that this is the HK version. It's also possible that it's a fake.

What do you mean bank transfer is secure? will you get your money back if they will not send the ebay item? Do they have some sort of guarantee? Do all the banks have that?
most banks will have your back. You'll first have to fill in some forms and then give them like a week or so to investigate and you get your cash back... Happened to me on some cymbals a while back... Citibank rocks!!!
