    Changing forks, brake placement question

So I'm changing out my marzocchi marathon bomber with a new rockshox Reba and it looks like I have a problem. I'm using juicy seven brakes. The brake mount on the bomber is perpendicular to the tube and the Reba is parallel. So am I screwed? I didnt realize these could have different mounts. So what do I do?

Don't worry go to your LBS and get the proper adapter, they are tons of different ones to fit all your needs..

You just need to change to the right adapter (though depending what size rotors you're running, you might not need one at all.

What fork mount do you have and what rotor size are you using?

No disk mount I'm familiar with is perpendicular to the fork. One or the other as shown above. I'm pretty sure the Reba uses post mount. If you are running a 160 disk you don't need an adapter. If you are running a larger disk you will need to find the correct adapter.

Hey all, thanks for the replies. I realized about 2 hrs after I posted this that my front disc brake already had the adaptor mount, all I needed to do was remove it and replace the spacers and I was good to go. Thanks.
