Hope Can I put a 10spd cassette on my Brave Machine Monster hub?

    Hi everybody,
I have a Brave Machine Monster 10mm rear hub and Iam currently running a 9spd shimano cassette.
I was woundering if I could fit a 10spd cassette on my freehub. In the specs it says that its shimano 8,9spd compatabillty.
I ve heard that 9 and 10 spd cassettes are the same width. Is that true?So could i fit a 10 spd Shimano cassette.
    Many thanks.

It's fine. The rest of your drivetrain needs to be compatible too, though.

It will work, keep in mind that you'll need a 10spd shifter and rear mech.

What are you hoping to gain by going to 10 speed?

My username is now relevant. Carry on.
The pedals turn, not just the left one, but the right one too.

You can put it on for looks but you can't ride it without a 10sp chain. You can use your front derailleur, shifter and 9sp crankset. You need a 10sp rear shifter and derailleur.

    Thanks everybody for the opinion
rangeriderdave-I am not going 10 speed for the extra speed. But because of the gear compability...i can find better rear mechs for 10spd than for 9spd.
I am aware that the rest of my parts must be 10spd(chain,shifter,cassettte...)
For DH and FR...what cassette would you rather use Shimano Ultegra or a normal cassette like XT?
