New question here. who's tried Stone Brewing "Crime" and "Punishment"?

I picked up one of each of these a few weeks ago, after reading (watching) about them online. Found them at my local Whole Foods.

Who else has tasted this beer? How much were you able to drink? What was your impression of the beer?

I can't seem to find the 3rd of the trifecta - "Southern Charred". Anyone come across this?

I have been searching for the Southern Charred but haven't had any luck. Sorry, I can't comment on the others. Good luck with your search!

They are gnarly. In a bad, bad way. I drank about 2 oz. of my pour, then dumped the rest. By far the worst pepper beer I've had, next to Ghostface Killah.

This is why I didn't buy one. $17.99 for something I may not like.

Late to the party....Crime and punishment are aptly named. Southern Charred was solid though(not a buck an ounce good though). I have a few bottles of each right now but I suspect only the Southern Charred will be drank anytime soon.

I was given a bottle of Punishment. It was undrinkable. I poured it out. Someone may like it, but it just wasn't my bag.

I've tried a bottle of the Punishment. I'm not a huge fan of this style and knew what I was in for. I polished it off with some nice salty tortilla chips;not bad at all! I can appreciate it for what it is. Wish I had picked up the Crime too, but had like $100 worth in the basket and ya gotta draw the line somewhere
