    i know

i know i've already posted, but hey, ive been drinking tonight and would just like to raise a glass of cool, clean, steel reserve malt liquor to all the singlespeeders! (If you dont know what steel reserve is, go down to your local liquor stors and ask for it by name; "i'd like 40oz of steel reserve please")

    The best is....

Magic Hat #9.... brewed in South Burlington, VT. It's best when you get a 1/2 gallon growler at the brewery (which is a mighty cool place, I might add).

    Beer FAQ?

I'm seriously beginning to think we ought to have a beer FAQ, since this is discussed so often.

Maybe it could be done as a sticky poll, so it would hover at the top of the list. Then again, I like the idea of having it right under the singlespeed info link--"Beer FAQ HERE! Please read this second!!"

I like a nice clean hoppy tasting beer.

    Sierra Nevada
    Victory Hop Devil IPA
    Becks
    Heineken
    Yuengling Lager

And then there's the one and only liguid bread

    Guinness

I know it's not the popular choice, but if I can get a half keg a Heineken to share with some friends, it's heaven! Heineken is my answer.

"Trying too hard" at what? When did a gargoyle holding a stein of brew become counter culture?

I get the impression you're trying too hard with a screen name like "Bikehigh", come on get over yourself.

Thanks for the answer. I appreciate it.

As for my name, Diesel, I was given that name almost thirty years ago by one of my best friends. You can blame him for my name, but ... he's been dead for almost fifteen years now, so go eff yourself, poser.

That's right, I said it, poseur!

Arrogant Bastard Ale? I guess Guinness isn't good enough for some people. It may be good, but let's see where it is in 400 years.

Edit: Sorry guys. I've had a few gin and tonics, Bombay fwiw, and am not suffering any fools.

    Yeah. What he said!

    Stone's brewsw are awesome.
Don't get me wrong- as a former bike messenger, I've downed my share of PBR. But when I want to really enjoy a beer, it's usually a Stone product.
