Durango Brewing Company: IPA: their first IPA, smooth, not too hoppy. 7.2 ABV if I remember correctly.

    Hopslam!

Finally found some Bell's Hopslam this year at a Whole Foods store. After trying unsuccessfully for the last few weeks to find some at my usual beer store haunts I was surprised to find that they were very well stocked today at a local Whole Foods. They had 5 sixers in the cooler and at least 20 cases on the floor and it is wonderful!

I guess I am a hopeless/helpless loadie… I am finishing off a 22 ounce bottle of Schmaltz Brewing’s Jewbelation 15 right now, however, I forgot I had been drinking a 750ml bottle of St. Bernardus Abt 12 which has several sips left. Sheesh, mixing Belgian with sloppywine?

Two Kern Citras and a Just Outstanding. Funny how the DIPA is way smoother than the regular IPA.

Good stuff, but I've been so spoiled lately that I can't even say it's in my top 3 DIPAs.
