I've drank at several breweries but have only taken two tours of the facilities. First was Sam Adam's Boston Brewery and more recently a friend of mine showed me around the new expansion of the Uinta facility in Utah. And Jeff, Squatters and Wasatch brewing do, in fact, brew their production out of the same facility in SLC. Though I have been told anecdotally that they brew on site what they serve at their respective locations.
Don't you hate it when a sentence doesn't end the way you think it octopus?

I was on the big Island last week and made visiting the Kona Brewery a must do agenda item. It was a cool little place. All kegging at the Kona location, they only bottle on the main land. After the tour we sampled some good stuff you can't get elsewhere and the girl giving the tour/tastings gave us extra beer Didn't get any growlers since our hotel had some Konas on tap and my drinks were paid for at the resort.

    Visited a Brewery?

First good experience at Coronado Brewing Co. Food and service usually suck but their pesto and shrimp pizza was pretty good with the Idiot IPA.

I've been there a couple times as part of a round-the-bay road ride. I didn't think the service was bad, and the food tasted fine but just about anything would after riding up the strand into a head wind.

If only the outside seating was better. Gets pretty cramped with too many idiots at the table (pints and riding buddies).

Yes, as long as you've tasted beer there which I'm sure you have.

I am visiting a trio of breweries tomorrow in San Diego:

    Green Flash
    Ballast Point
    Stone

Pretty excited minus the fact that work and weekend plans have put a halt to my riding the past couple of weeks so my gut is growing and will grow even more tomorrow.

Hmmm. I like lists, but it never occurred to me to list all the breweries or brewpubs I've visited.
Then again, I've been beer hunting since Redhook, Grant's and Hale's opened in 1983, so it would be one HELL of a list!!

Let's see- so for the moment, I'll just add that I visited Lazy Boy Brwg in Everett, WA last week. I had a nice Oktoberfest and an interesting "Norwegian Death" (presumably a fun poke at Iron Horse's very popular "Irish Death").

I haven't toured many breweries but the Leinenkugel brewery is actually really cool despite the fact that I don't like their beer. Everything was pretty picturesque other than the new visitors center that was full of touristy trinkets. I'd definitely visit again if I was in the area.

We spent a few hours at Calfkiller Brewery last weekend, it was fantastic! Located outside of Sparta TN and run by two brothers that do everything. If you are ever in Nashville or Cookeville try them out, Brown Recluse was my favorite

    Visited a Brewery?

Went out to Santee yesterday to check out BNS Brewing. They've only been open for 10 months but are already doing great things. There is a nice outdoor seating area and a fun country themed bar.

    Visited a Brewery?

Just finished a trip to Aviator Brewery in Fuquay-Varina, NC tonight. They have a good selection of beers and they only sell in kegs and cans. They claim since they use a liner in the can, once the beer is sealed in it is almost as fresh as a keg. We'll see.

Sent from a telecommunication device with a touch screen keyboard.
    I wouldn't **** you, you're my favorite turd.

While I was home on leave I visited the Yuengling brewery in Pottsville, PA. Awesome tour throughout the brewery, the one in Pottsvile was the original brewery so you get to see "the cave" which is pre-prohibition. Oldest Brewery in America, 1829.

Well today headed over to Jack's Abbey in Framingham MA.....enjoyed a flight of brews including: Mass Rising D IPL, Session Rye IPL, Berliner Lager, and Framingham Lager. My wife had a pint of Leisure Time Lager. Had not tried any of these before....Hopomonious Union was what I had several times.....all were very good....Mass Rising was my favorite. This brewery specializes in Lagers....all styles...the tour was very interesting because this crew is trying some special recipes. They had a barrel room just for specialty brews. Fun time.

While I was up in Kerville riding the Cannell Plunge last weekend I went to Kern River Brewing twice. The place we stayed at was literally next door to it.

Had their Just Outstanding IPA and the Shuttle Bunny White DIPA. Good stuff!

I recommend visiting New Glarus Brewing Co! Gorgeous Brewery!
Considering it's size, not a drop of beer is shipped outside the state of Wisconsin!

    Sam Adams.....

Finally made it to Sam Adams in Boston(Jamaica Plain section of town). It was raining and our first cold day of the season. My brother and wife came along. We arrived just before 11am and walked in for the 11 am tour. Excellent tour which included generous sampling and a Trolley ride to the local establishment that was the first to have Sam Adams Lager on tap (Doyle's). If you bought a Sam's on TaP then you got to keep the special glass! The same glass was being bought by many at end of tour for $8.50. We had a nice lunch and a few brews then headed over to Belmont Wheel Works(very nice bike shop in the area).

At a local brewery on my day off after a long weekend.

Tustin Brewing Co. in Tustin, Ca.

Fantastic IPA and great food. Not my first time here but figured I'd add it to my list.

Anchor Brewing a couple months ago. 2 day old Liberty Ale was delicious. I forgot how good the beer is from these guys. Underrated in my opinion

For explorers of the Sierra, I'll vouch for:
Mountain Rambler, Bishop, Ca - good beer, good food, best hangout spot in Bishop now.
June Lake Brewing, June Lakes, Ca - fantastic beer, beautiful spot, owners are mountain bikers more than happy to share favorite trails (hard to find in this area).
Fifty Fifty, Truckee, Ca - Great beer, great food, fun spot, if a little pricy these days.
Sierra Nevada, Chico, Ca - You know it, I know it, still making great stuff and fun to visit.
Tahoe Mountain Brewing - Go to the tap room in Truckee for a different experience from the Tahoe City restaurant.
Mammoth Brewing Company, Mammoth Lakes. 395 IPA may still be my favorite beer, but super bummed they've stopped canning anything.
Coldwater, South Lake Tahoe - Dug the Rye IPA, food has been hit and miss, but think that's a new business thing and expect great things.

Need to try: Alibi, Incline Village - hearing good things.

In Santa Rosa, there is Annadel State Park which features about 20+ miles of rocky, tech singletrack.

Then a few minutes away is the Russian River Brewery.

I live about two hours away and made the trek to this hallowed ground. Came home with $400 of Pliny and Blind Pig IPAs.
