I've got some Hangar 24 Gourdgeous (pumpkin porter) and some Bruery Autumn Maple ready to go. My nephew will probably turn up with something unusual and amazing.

I have several different bottles on hand for T-giving. Diner will feature three different birds. One roasted, one smoked and a wild bird my brother shot that will be BBQd.
Stone Double Bastard Ales for sipping on throughout the day.
Barrel aged Old Rasputin Anniversary RIS for dinner time.
Bourbon Barrel Aged 2010 Stone Old Guardian Barleywine, for desert time. It will be paired specifically with a Bleu Cheese-Jalepeno Cheese Cake.

After desert, I will be serving bourbon barrel aged bourbon. ;)

Reuben's Roasted RyePA from the kegerator all afternoon, then some Cascade Kriek, Tripel Karmeliet and Upright Gose with dinner, followed by Cascade Bourbonic Plague, Deschutes Black Butte XX, and an old bottle of Gouden Carolus Grand Cru of the Emperor (I'm thinking 2008, maybe?) with dessert. Followed by some big traildays this weekend to work it off...

So after starting this thread, I ended up buying a variety pack of beers the store was blowing out cheap. I got a 6 pack of Dick's Lava Rock porter. I got a bomber of Bear Republic pale ale, Dick's Special Bitter, an IPA from Captured By Porches Brewing, and a stout from Captured by Porches.

I won't drink it all on Thanksgiving. Mainly because I'm having a couple bombers on Thanksgiving Eve.

    Long live unwelcome relatives!

Best Pumpkin beer in all the world is Horseheads Brewing Co. Their Pumpkin Ale is in a class of it's own. Perfect balance between pumpkin and spices....can't wait...

ST Stefanus Blonde Ale (Belgian). These bombers were at 9mos or so in aging. Put them in a perfect place still some of the fruitiness just starting to develop the orange marmalade toffee hints perfect, just perfect to bring out the roasty flavors of the turkey, and the orange and rosemary in the brine. Great example of a beer complementing the flavors and being perfectly matched in flavor intensity.

One of my fav treat beers. Glad I went down that path.

My final total for the day:
An Arrogant Bastard Ale at breakfast.
A Double Bastard Ale at 10.
A couple Jubelales through mid day.
    Another Double Bastard around 2.
A glass of the Rasputin Barrel Aged with dinner at 3:30.
    A Narwal Stout after dinner.
A glass of the barrel aged 2010 Old Guardian Barley wine with desert.
A glass of Woodinville Whiskey later in the evening.

Surprisingly, zero hangover the next morning. :D

Whoah. Impressive indeed. I've been called an alcoholic on this forum for drinking half as much. I applaud you. And I'm having my first try of Double Bastard the second I get done typing this.

I had to stay sober for the day as we hosted thanksgiving this year, and it was my first time ever frying a turkey. So I stuck to tasters, a couple bottles of New Belgium Frambozen and stayed away from the whiskey.

The tasters I did have though were epic indeed:
    2004 Utopius
    The Bruery Tart of Darkness
    New Belgium Vrienden
    2009 Life and Limb
    2006 Killer Penguin
    2011 Rodenbach Grand Cru

The best of all was something i had never seen in the states, a friend of mine brought it back from Belgium, a "Mega Blend" Geuze from the big geuze producers in Belgium. It was spectacular.
