    Surly Seviin

My first real post is about beer!

Had a glass of Seviin this weekend and it was very good. High on ABV and low on hops. I'd like to taste a bottle of this in a year or so. It should really be good.

I have been on a real hops kick for a while and it was nice to have some change.

Another beer I tried this weekend is Kona Big Wave, what a refreshing beer. To me it seems like they perfectly bottled Hawaii!

BTW, Hi My name is Mike and I came here to learn about mountain biking. Nice to see a beer forum too though!

SeViin is a great Belgian-esq strong ale, pretty enjoyable.
Check out some Maui Brewing goods if you can, truly inspired and created in HI.

    Welcome!

The irony (as JFryauff alluded to) is that Kona doesn't even bottle in Hawaii. The bottled beer they sell (including what is sold in the islands) is actually made on the mainland.

    Welcome to MTBR!
