Porter Beer Cheese?

Saw this cheese the other day that was made from porter beer and cheddar...



Anybody tried this or something like it? Saw something similar at Whole Foods and was wondering what you guys thought of it...

looks good to me, i've always liked strange cheese. Do they sell this cheese in America, if they do i know I would buy some......

I have tried it. I found the porter to be somewhat lacking. A little bit of smoke flavor is hiding away in it. It was also softer than a proper cheddar should be probably from the moisture provided by the porter.
