    Paging JTMartino or Dirt Farmer

What do you guys think of Deschutes Class of 88 offerings. My beer store got in the smoked porter and the barley wine.

Also, my beer store has a blowout price on a English Ale from Blvd. Brewing, the #3, but it's been stored warm. Would you take a chance on a warm shelved English ale?

The barleywine is interesting - it's like a light, fruity version of an English barleywine. More bready than the toffee/caramel flavors I like in my barleywines, but it's still pretty interesting. I haven't had the smoked porter yet, but if you liked smoked beers I heard it's pretty tasty.

The Boulevard #3 (Stingo) should be fine - the style lends itself to aging well even in warm temps. If it's not too expensive I'd try it!

Thank you. I believe I can get the Boulevard for $8.50 for the big bottle, so I think I'll give it a shot and likely the Deschutes barley wine. I haven't had much luck with smoked beers so far.
