Glad you found it - we just launched in the off-premise in Arizona yesterday! Lots of tasting events going on around town this weekend for it.

Pour that baby HARD!! I take a pint glass, place it over the bottle with the bottom about an inch above the bottle opening. Invert both, and lift the bottle keeping the 1 inch separation from the beer as it fills the glass. When done, let it settle in to a smooth head and enjoy.

i found this stuff about a 2 months ago at Spec's in Austin. It wasn't expensive at all. I dont think it was more than $8 or $9 for a 6er.

I thought it was fantastic. Super creamy, flavorful and really smooth (meaning the alcohol taste was really non-existent). The only bad part about it is the fact that I really only like drinking stouts when its somewhat cold outside, and here in Austin, it hasnt really been cold since the start of January, so I dont have a lot of occasions to drink it. Otherwise, I'd drink it all the time.

No, In fact my wife was talking to a sales rep for Left Hand yesterday at the Nitro Milk Stout Launch at Good Beer in NYC and he said they were dropped by Stone Distribution because they did not produce enough.

She did buy a sixer and I am drinking one right now, very good, very slight hint of a spice of some sort.

This stuff is sex in a bottle. The best stout you can buy out of a bottle. I paid $10 for a 6'er... I'd pay double if I had to.
    Pour hard!

Yeah, I am happy I am not unable to enjoy stouts when it's hot considering I live in Phoenix. lol

I always keep one keg of stout and one keg of IPA or Pale Ale in my keezer at all times. I rotate my 3rd keg as my experimental one.

And I agree evenes- both are very good, and two completely different brews.

Prior to the Nitro, I did drink the bottle version of LH Milk Stout... it was good, but just not the same as that creamy goodness from the tap. When the Nitro came out, I was skeptical... but after tasting, it's the next best thing to their Milk Stout out of the tap... it's very, very close.
