It's perfect for when I can't decide if I want a lager or a glass of water.

I'm not a total beer snob, although I do stick to mostly craft brews. I like the old can of American lager sometimes, usually Yuengling. But seriously, Coors Light is the shittiest thing ever. Most light beers are anyway, what's the point of a half water beer? If you are on a diet don't drink beer in the first place.

I just like the crisp refreshing taste, something that a glass of pumpernickel bread doesn't give me.

    Why drink beer though?

If I just wanted crisp refreshing taste I'd go for cold water. Is it the alcohol content? If so you may want to try vodka and club soda, maybe add some fresh lime.

I use it to sober up when I've had too much to drink.

I will take it when drinking cheap, light beers when an IPA won't work. I do think original coors is pretty solid and looked over, too.

It's not often people admit their flaws. Good for you.
Authorities speculate that speed may have been a factor. They are also holding gravity and inertia for questioning.

    To each his own!

I'll pound one if it's free, but don't think I've bought one since the late '90's when I was in my early 20's!

Light beers from the big boys are good for two things.
    1) Nice little treat after a day working in the hot sun
    2) Getting blasted for cheap

I enjoyed reading; some lovers, some beer-snobs. I had never thought of using it as parts degreaser. And to the wanker who neg-rep'd me, thanks for that.

Light beers the scourge and dumbing down of mankind! just think of the irony, tough hardcore Mtn bikers drinking an insult of what a beer should never represent.not mention all the marketing to brainwash you into truly believing it's a must have but that it actually tastes good!

Not to be a jerk, but I always feel a bit fem drinking Coors Light, Bud Light or Miller Light.

Reminds me of sorority girls in college.

American premium light lager? Not much taste in there. Do you only eat wonder bread? Same kinda stuff. Beer is supposed to have taste, not just fizzy, corn like water. What else do you drink for beer ?
