    I hate this...but...Good Lighter Beers?

Best "lighter" beer I've come across so far is the Stone Go to IPA (135 calories). Due to horizontal expansion and a fervent refusal to drink "light beer"...I'm searching for something GOOD but lighter. IPAs are my go to source of hoppy treats. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Not an IPA, but a lighter beer in my opinion that is very drinkable is Mama's little yella pils from Oscar Blues.

Not sure of Calorie content either.

most Crew Breweries do not list Calories on the bottle. Where did you find the info for the Go-To?

    Good beer. 159 calories

Also highly recommend the Steamworks Colorado Kolsch: 146 calories

My hands down, go too, cheap/lighter beer? Coors Banquet. 149 calories.

Not sure regarding exact calories but try out some of Firestones beers if you can get them. They have a session IPA called Easy Jack that's pretty good. Low ABV, for the most part equates to low calories per volume. Or do what I generally do and limit your drinking to weekends.

Googled "How many calories in Stone Go To IPA"

I'd also like to find this mystery beer in a can, as bottles fill the recycling bin way too fast.

Easy Jack has an ABV on par with most the big American light beers. Don't know the calories, but it's tasty enough to satisfy IPA cravings. Otherwise, Guinness draft in the bottle is the most obvious taste to calories winner.

Ride more. Life is too short to drink (ahem) light beer. You should be ridding enough that you NEED those calories.

That's the dream, as with most things I'd rather be doing...real life gets in the way of a good time.

I am not sure I would 100% believe my fitness pal, those are mostly user entered data, and at best is someones guess.

I am not saying that it is not too far off, lower ABV = less grain in the recipe which means less sugar, so an 11% stout is gonna have more calories than a 4% Session beer. But getting exact numbers is going to be very difficult. I do not think Craft Breweries are required to actually figure out Calorie Content, so unless the laws change those numbers will just be guesses.

Against my better judgement I had a Coors Light this weekend. It didn't kill me, but it was no IPA. I could probably make it work between real beer on weekends or something.
