    Great Seasonal Beer

    Lagunitas Day Time!

I am someone who loves great, full-flavored beers (Pliny, Dogfish, Drakes Denognizer..sp?, etc.) but I don't like getting too buzzed from them. Drink 3 Plinys and I am nodding off at dinner.

This beer is delicious AND only 4.6% ABV. Try it (or don't because it is already sold out in a few places by me) You can have 4 and still converse with your mother-in-law, great stuff!

3 Plinys in one sitting is quite the undertaking, and also a point of jealousy for those of us who do not have access like you California folks. Also i think most people drink big beers to avoid conversation with the mother-in-law

I will see if I can find some of that out here and give it a try, though I typically don't like Lagunitas beer.

... and if we just ...

A small revival on this thread as I just 'discovered' this great Colorado beer.
The Great Divide Brewing Co has this seasonal beer called Hibernation Ale and it is phenomenal!
Reminds me a lot of some Belgian Ale's and Trapist beers. Great flavor!!
One problem it is available in limited quantities...
