Just so audacious that AC/DC included this on Back in Black, right after Bon Scott died from living too hard. I raise one to Bon every time I hear this. Tonight will be no exception.

Right on! Cheers.

This is the best Drinking Song hands down.

Drinking is a bout drinking, and drinking songs are about raccoons, not drinking.
the best dringing song in the history of the world is "Rocky Raccoon", and when you are done singing that, we must all sing "Bye . bye, Miss American Pie" for dessert.
admit it.
its running through your head right now.
".....drove my Chevy to the levee but the levee was dry...."
-
P.S.
.........Them good ol boys were drinkin whisky and rye singin this will be the day that I die.....
-
Upon further contemplation..
"Them good ol boys were drinkin whisky and rye, only to find Gideons bible"

I notice that these are all songs that we listen to as we drink and possibly sing along to as well. I'm reminded of my summer session abroad in London where I spent some time in the pubs. The locals would sing traditional drinking and football/soccer songs. All I could think of was 99 beers on the wall and take me out to the ballgame, are there any other American traditional drinking songs?
Even though I think they are standard fare for the occasion, and George Thorogood and Stevie Ray Vaughn pretty much any tune, but since I should pick 2:
George Thorogoud
GEORGE THOROGOOD "Bad To The Bone" - YouTube
and stevie ray vaughn
Stevie Ray Vaughan Crossfire Live From Austin Texas 1080P - YouTube
but there's a 3rd, Jim Morrison/ The Doors
The Doors - Alabama Song (Whiskey Bar) Live! - YouTube
I don't know why,... it's just MUSS easier to pedal than the other ones.

The secret to mountain biking is pretty simple. The slower you go the more likely it is you’ll crash.

Yo! That last one, "Hey DJ!" by Kontrust reminds me of some of the shizz that erupts when some of the local Rastasurfarian punkers get together for a jam. Loved it!
My bros tell me that I woke up from passing out due to too much whiskey at a late night beach fire that had become a major conflagration... and began puking and singing impromtu lyrics at the same time. I don't remember, but they say I was screaming out "Puking! Puking! Puking at the Jetty!" and them vomiting all over myself, over and over again.
I still remember waking up seeing my fellow surf bros, BillyBob, Layman Raw, and Crazy John endoing huge logs onto the top of the blaze as I was puking my guts out and singing about it. It was huge.
I quit drinking whiskey after that. So its still my favorite!
-
Wait a minute! On my way to the fridge to grab mycellves a Kona Brewing Big Wave Ale, I realized that the above is merely a "puking song," and not a proper drinking song. My Bad! No apologies, though.
So my long time fave remains "The Wine Song," by the Youngbloods.
If you can guzzle 'em down, then you can google it up to find the lyrics.

Guy I use to work with - he and I would sing this at the end of an ale before buying another ^^
Dough, the stuff that buys the beer
Ray, the guy that sells the beer
Me, the guy that drinks the beer
Far, a long way to get beer
So, I'll have another beer
La, I'll have another beer
Tea, no thanks I'm drinking beer
which brings us back to
Doh!!

I'm with ya there. Been a fan since TSL and they're still one of the few bands I try to catch live on a regular basis. Good stuff.

All respect to Dropkick Murphy's, and Flogging Molly, but IMO Bondo's F@@@ You I'm Drunk is the best drinking song ever.
