Excellent beer I picked up this weekend

This brew from Caldera Brewing in Ashland, OR is an excellent pale ale I tried for the first time this weekend when I mixed and matched a six-pack. Great flavor, very hoppy but smooth and not too bitter.

I'm not a big fan of cans but I'll make an exception for this beer and Dale's Pale Ale. I actually like this better than Dale's b/c it's more subdued and not so in-your-face. The only drawbacks are that it's not widely distributed and at $12 per 6 pack it's expensive.

Cans are great. For hoppy beers, they might be better than bottles.

Their IPA in cans is even better, IMO.

They really revolutionized canned craft beers here in Oregon, and their IPA is one of the best!

Haven't tried that one but Costco has these..and wow was it tasty.

I am dreaming to think it would make its way to Costco in San diego!

Caldera is one of my favorite breweries, seems to me like all of their beers are really well done.

I'll keep an eye peeled for this. I love the Maui Brewing Company's Big Swell IPA and almost anything from Oskar Blues in the can. You'll love them too if you know how to open beer as a pro.
