    Elephant dung beer

Recently Japanese brewery Sankt Gallen introduced Un, Kono Kuro, a brew made from coffee beans that have passed through an elephant (there is no actual poop in the beer)--a technique that breaks down proteins in the coffee bean, giving the beer a smooth, earthy flavor.

    I'd drink it.

That elephant dung coffee is supposed to be the most expensive in the world. I think close to $500-600 a pound.

Kopi Luwak is a close second at about $400 a pound.
It is another coffee that is pooped out of some cat like creatures arse.
Just stick it in granny and start grinding.

There are a handful of brewers that make Kopi Luwak stouts including Alesmith and Mikkeller. The problem is that beer is not a good vehicle for showcasing high-end coffee, and the brewing and fermentation process doesn't do the coffee any favors.

    You are correct.
The other problem is that generally speaking there is very little of the high end coffee in the batch of beer. They only put enough in to claim the name. After that it is other coffee extracts.
