I was actually predicting this vote from you I would love to get a hold of some of that, definitely read plenty of good things.

I am thinking the original post was about best graphics on a can? Well, regardless, the beer nerds have expressed their opinion that it's the contents that make a beer can beautiful

Of course, I'm biased because I designed these two for one of my hometown breweries:

    HUB Abominable Winter Ale

    Best Beer Can-abomb-snow-6.jpg

Great can....my wife and I played a drinking game with this beer while watching a B movie on the Scifi channel Christmas PM called "Yeti."

Every time the Yeti shows up you take a sip of Hub's Abominable Winter Ale. It was a double feature with another cheesy horror flick called "Snowbeast." At 7.3% ABV we called it quits after the first movie. Apparently there's a sequel called "Rage of the Yeti."

    - so is the kettle it's brewed in, but I still prefer glass for storage purposes......that's why there's the Growler........

Have you tried a fine IPA out of a can recently? Much, much better than a bottle. Too bad the cost of aluminum makes them so expensive.

Garage Project from New Zealand have the best cans I've seen by a mile, and some of the best beer-art in general. The beers are every bit as good as the art too!

Know how I know you don't know beer?

Seriously, the best beer should be in a can. It's far better for both preservation and keeping out the light. Most micro-brews don't can their beer because the process is simply too expensive.

    I will disagree.

Their Mole' Stout was delicious and probably the best beer I have had from them yet.

Modus Hoperandi IPA is also a good canned beer from them.

The only bottled thing I have had that I would rank up there with either of those two is their Decadent IPA. Have not had a tap yet but any breweries best is and should be served on tap.
Just stick it in granny and start grinding.

Some good beers listed. The hot one in my neck of the woods here is

    Best Beer Can-cans.slider.jpg

They just started canning and this is their signature beer. It is pretty good and you have to support the locals. Not to mention what could be better than riding in Pisgah and having a Pisgah Pale Ale mid ride.

Also pretty much anything Oskar Blues is good but I prefer to just go to their brewery here afterwards and have them off tap.

The other local breweries that are canning is Catawba
I like their Fire Water and King Winterbolt

    Best Beer Can-catawba_brewing_2013_new_logo.png

    And Asheville Brewing Co
    I like their Shiva IPA

The whole can top pulls off, offering a better chance of quaffing the aromatic delights inside.
