Two things you need to consider... What kind of beer drinking crowd will be there, and what kind of beer do YOU like drinking. Both need to be addressed. So along with getting a supply of whatever you like to drink, I usually go with some user friendly options like Sierra Nevada and/or Hoegaarden. Getting variety pack cases from a local craft brewer is also a great way to go... so in Philly, maybe a Victory Variety Pack. If the crowd is a Bud/Miller/Coors type, then go that route.

Thank you friend for your reply. I like your idea. My favorite beer is Hoegaarden and Budweiser.

i would say find your favorite craft brewery nearby, order a 1/6bbl keg and put it on ice. Most breweries will rent out a free hand pump as long as you provide an additional deposit.

Exactly what the above person recommended. Go to your nearest microbrewery or hit up Bevmo and get a 5 gallon keg, beer of your choice. Dales Pale, Firestone Pale, Hef, etc., just no on Bud. Rent out a jockey box and you have a partay.

Here's a suggestion, "Jenny." Take a bottle of Bud, shove it up your "Ho-garden" and whistle the Happy Birthday song through your sphincter. That will make your party most memorable, indeed!

Strange that 'Jenny' prefers Bud or Whoregaarden but she replied to another thread with:
'Pliny is a straight-forward IIPA and pretty much perfect. It is delicious and definitely beats out hopslam'.

You're right, you can have as many favs as you like but I have yet to meet someone that considers Pliney perfect and prefers to drink Bud.
