Needed studded tires to ride the access road up to the trailhead.

The best thing about riding in the winter is that your beer doesn't get warm.

Two turners and a few beer bottles.

    Beer And Bikes: Picture thread-bikesbeer.jpg

I started saving empty 500ml bottles for home brew, then bought a house that happened to have a convenient bottle-sized ledge in the garage and suddenly I had a bottle collection. Last count was a little over 150 individual beers, mostly from local NZ breweries.

    Something special!

    Beer And Bikes: Picture thread-image.jpg

1996 Ibis Mojo with Charlie Brown Paint and a special Stone Brewery tribute brew called "Matt's Burning Rosids". Matt Courtwright was an employee for Stone before he died and this was his recipe. Really good beer!

Iím trying to find a bottle opener to mount to my bikes..

1/4 of the reason why I got the Dolomite was to enjoy a ride to the local beer store and strap on a 6pack to bring home a few times a week. (Pretty much either enjoy the ride down/up (<1 mile round trip) or drive..tho my vehicles are fun to drive!)

    However.. I hope this counts!!!!!

hit up a 4 mile trail ride on my "lunch" break (5pm) at work. Now i am at home drinking an Old Chub on Nitro from Oskar Blues. Really malty, creaminess from the nitro, then a bunch of nutty toffee with a tiny amount of roast at the very back end of the palate. Pretty good beer! Its from a 16oz can.

The only thing better than riding your bike is riding it at night in fresh snow, getting the first tracks in, with an awesome beer in your bag.
