Wildcard with 180 in front, need help

    Hi guys,

Any one runs the wildcard with 180 here?
You have to change the rear to 6.5 right? is the higher BB noticeable?

Should I have an angle changer to get the same bb hight, to be more slack? any one done this?

I thought of having my lyrik 160 to the every day trails but 180 for more DH stuff, is it possible?

    Thanks.

The WC is more than capable of handling some mild DH with a Lyric up front and the lower BB is a plus when you're travelling at higher speeds.
Some people do feel comfortable but, coming from a BMX background, I feel a little uncomfortable on bikes with high-ish BBs.

I meant, changing the lyrik with 180, like marz 66

    Any one ride like that?
    High BB?

I have a WC with a 180mm Domain in the 5" travel position. So far I've just been riding XC trails, and won't get to do much DH before this Spring. It's very stable in the 5" position and climbs a lot better than I would have expected. I guess it would be a little more stable with a slacker head angle, but I'm pretty happy with it where it is.

i thought you have to have...

6.5 position if you put 180 in front. Don't you?

Not sure why I would have to use the 6.5" position with the longer fork. I didn't see any restrictions on their site. It sure rides nice this way : )

    I am with you.
The head angle and bb hieght would be better for me but in Banshee's site they don't list it as possibilty so...not sure...you ride dh like this? For how long?

Not much DH so far. I've only had it a month or so, and work has been screwing with my riding time. I'll probably switch to the higher BB at some point just to see how it rides.

    I run only 5"

    its much slacker and fun.
The 6.5 felt just weird as if it was a marketing thing and the main wildcard design was around the 5".

Never the less, with 7' fork they suggest using 6.5" rear to get same head angle when you use 5' and 160mm fork. Now you say you use 180mm with 5" so my guess is that your head angle is about 65.5-66 degrees which is awesome.

I will test that. Hope it won't hurt my frame.
