Where are the bearings on the new rune and spitfire?
On the links themselves, or in the frame, or combination of both?

Combination. It's pretty easy to see where they are located on the Banshee website.

The bearings are located on the exterior linkage part at each pivot for superior stiffness and bearing life.

It would be nice if Banshee would offer a bearing tool (like Transition does)

They are pretty easy to remove, had no prob swapping out the ones on my Prime proto (they had to be swapped due to some proto-typing issues that are of course fixed for production) and I didn't require any special bearing tools other than a socket set and some quick-grips.

I wonder if banshee will be ffering bearing kits for replacement down the road

They are very common sizes, easy to order from Enduroforkseals.com and cheap enough to order a set 'just in case'. I think the full set would run a hair over $40...

FYI, I believe these are the Enduro Max bearing recommended replacement numbers are
4 x 6001 2RS
4 x 608 2RS
The 6001 2RS' are $5.18 ea, the 608 2RS' are $3 ea, so $32.72 US plus shipping.
