What offset Pike on a Prime?

I know this has been covered but still no answer to what is better?
    44mm or the 51mm?

    6'6" on a XL prime. 150mm pike.

What offset Pike on a Prime?

i've been asking the same question on the german IBC forum. the differences should be minor ... now that the 51 mm offset is available most riders (including me) seem to be going that route but others (i think it's 46 mm offset by the way) are equally happy. 51 mm offset should feel slightly more nimble, probably closer to the 26er "feel" you might be used to.

I'd definitely go wit the 51mm offset if it's available to you, if not I guess 46mm would work. Some say they can't feel that small of a difference, I'm not sure if I could either, but knowing that I can feel the difference in running matched tyres as compared to a bigger front, I'd think I'd feel it.

Compared to another brand fork the differences in a2c length, damper quality, stiffness and settings will probably be more noticeable than offset.

I agree 51mm is probably better. I went from a fox float 34 140 to a Pike 150 51mm offset last year- didn't notice a big difference in geometry but suspension quality & stiffness was much improved. recently I bumped the pike up to 160mm but haven't ridden it yet.

Keep in mind the Pike is like 7mm shorter a2c length vs the fox, given the same travel. So any differences in offset are relative to all the other variables.
