Ano frames are lightest, compared to ano powdercoat adds maybe 100-150g depending on size, and clearcoated frames add about 150-200g depending on size.

Keith, could you estimate the difference in weight between the anodized and the powder couted oneīs?
Would also be interesting if the 6.5lbs for a RUNE with M-frame on the banshee homepage is actual???

Are the "raws" clear coated or polished?

If raw is 7.3ish pounds, I'm guessing a medium is around 7. It'll be interesting to see what the posted official weight is. I don't have a problem with the extra few grams if it translates into better longevity/durability.

    Hi,

I've a bunch of Rune 650b suspension questions:
    1) Does the 650b specific lower link reduce the travel?
    2) Is the CCDB which comes with the frame pretuned for Rune?
    2) What fork w/ travel adjust would you choose for a 650b Rune?

    thanks

    - High quality sealed bearings like the Prime >> CHECK
    - Increased strength (gusseting) around the bottom bracket >> CHECK
    - Slightly longer top tube >> CHECK
    - Replaceable rear dropouts (w/ ability to run multiple rear hub setups) >> CHECK
    - Adjustable geometry like the spitfire >> CHECK
    - 10-15mm more of rear travel >> CHECK
    - Beefed up frame- I honestly don't mind a slightly heavier frame if it means the Rune can be ridden that much harder >> CHECK
    - Carbon offering >> NOPE
    - Shorter Chainstays >> CHECK

I was just looking at the original post and first few replies of this thread. Not bad Bashee!

You forgot slacker HTA's - probably most important change if you ask me. But yeah, Keith nailed it. Now the question is... do I wait for a carbon version?

    Cheers,

    G

PS - This thread has strayed so far off of the original intent (I mean really - who cares what color to choose, lol) maybe we need a new one for just "The new Rune V2!"

I got a question regarding available colors for the rune.

For the first batch there are blue ones.
Will they remain available for the next batches also?

There was a statement on an upcoming yellow option.
Is it the fluorescent one that came on the prototype or more like shown on the renderings of the prime?

There was a post about all of this somewhere but I can't find it anymore.
    Can you help me out?

ENOUGH WITH THE COLORS ALREADY, LOL! How does that even remotely pertain to the thread's initial question??? Start your own "color options" thread!

    Have FUN!

Orange ano can't happen I'm afraid. They higher quality alloy we use on our frames means that we only have a small selection of dark ano colours that will work.

Will the frame's leverage rate allow the use of a coil shock?

Any recommendations? I'm guessing something with an air chamber like an RC4 to provide some ramp up, sent to PUSH to get the valving correct.
