Can you run 650b wheels on a wildcard ? I guess rear clearance is sufficient and I KNOW that it is possible to run 650b's with RS Lyrik

Haven´t tried at all, but definately NO in the rear - not enough clearance due to the upper seatstay-yoke, and with 427 mm a relatively short rear-end overall. Plus the BB would raise too much, even in the 5" Setting.

Forget to mention that I hope the added graphics to the Prime were due to boredom. They add nothing to the aesthetics. Keep it raw and keep the decals over the clearcoat.

i saw a small(er) wheeled ~prime (or reasonable facsimile) on the shore last week. didn't check it out long enough to differentiate between 26 or 650, but it looked hot, regardless. the want was high. hopefully it materializes for next season.

I concur. The graphics suck. Hopefully they won't make their way to the selected anodized finish. They look tacky. IMO.

Agree that the prime graphic sucks! I want a bare frame that comes with a sticker pack. Pls do that for the upcoming spitfire. Tq.

    Rune replacement.

I have not seen it yet, I missed it while it was in at North Shore Bike Shop.

Heard it looks pretty sweet and rides great.

My suspicion is that it will have a second set of drops out that will work for 650b.

I like the decals on the prime.

And I love the rumours....mmmMMMmm...once in a while Keith says something on twitter that piques my interest...he sure is a tease.

I´m not shure if the Rune needs to be replaced - it´s the Do-it-All Bike in the Banshee Line-Up - no reason to discontinue. Although it´s curious to see that in Germany (for example) the Wildcard still has more Popularity as a Do-it-All Bike than the Rune?! A Prime in a 26-Wheel Version would kill the Spitfire - no reason for Banshee to release an Competitor for the same Purpose.

I could imagine that a 650B-Prime will achieve high demands, especially in Europe, at least for me
Seriously: Aggressive Trailbikes get a lot of attention over here and could gain good Sales. The Brits know ...

I could also imagine, that with the change from Bushings to Bearings, the KS-Link will be the new Suspension-Platform for the whole Line-Up, specially for the 26ers Rune and Spitfire. Maybe Rampant in a Short-Travel-Area, too. If so I hope Banshee can speed up more than usual to bring this to the market as soon as possible.

Although there will be a Wildcard Re-release it´s future is clear - unfortunately no Mid-Travel-Freeride-Bike in the Banshee Line-Up and the future of the Scythe ... ?

Replacement might not have been the right word. Updated...Rune 3.0...KS-link Rune...
