longer rear shock on spitfire?
can you put a longer rear shock on the spitfire?
200X57 ?
will it work?
thanks

Iin a word... no. This will cause a number of frame issues.

but...
the spitfire has 2 holes for making the frame lower/higher.
what if a 200X57 shock be mounted to the hole that makes the bike lower/slacker?
the bike will stay higher/less slack. but will have more travel.
no?

In theory yes... but unfortunately you will get likely frame collisons plus the linkage kinematics will be skews so that the ride characteristics of the frame will suffer.

I now ride a MKIII ironhorse and love it (for 6 years now)
I want a new frame. (broke the MKII 2 times...)
I'm going to test the v1 spitfire this weekend
I hope it is good like evryone here say... :-)
