Learn me…what headset for Rune V.2 and a 170mm tapered fork?

I’m old and confused. I’ve been using the same Cane Creek XX 1.5 Straight for about 10 years and 3 different bikes. Things have changed.

So many options and price range is huge. This zero stack vs ? angle set vs, tapered headset vs non tapered vs straight steerer vs…. has be confused.

I read through the build pages but didn’t see much / anything about headset.

Any suggestions on which to use without breaking the bank?

Does anyone have a maker/model number or something that they’d suggest?

    Thanks

It uses 44mm top and 56mm bottom zero stack headset. I'm going for the cane creek 40 for mine which seems to be a solid budget headset.

    Thanks.

All the zero stack / angleset was confusing.

I take it the one your are getting is a normal headset and not an angleset.

I think I had narrowed mine down to what you have.

Correct no angle set, pretty confident I'll be happy with the geometry options as they are.
