    Frame Alignment?

This is my first time completely taking my Spitfire frame apart to clean it up over the winter. I've had the frame since the spring time and have loved it! During the summer I took the pivot axles out one at a time and greased them a few times, I didn't notice anything odd other than everything fitting together quite snug.

Well, tonight I'm putting all of the links back together and have found this (picture below). The lower link went together smoothly, so I then put the seat stay pivot bolts in. Only to find a large gap on the main shock link bolt. I don't have anything to measure it with, but it is larger than the thickness of a $2 coin.

Is this normal? Should I just screw the axle bolt in until everything comes together? I rode on it all year with no problems.

Apologies for the crappy picture, it is taken with my cell phone.

Frame misalignment is never normal and most likely the root cause of all the frame wear issues people are having. Not a good thing.

my understanding is the bushings and axles can wear unevenly and make it look like things are mis-aligned. mine had the exact same thing recently, new axles, bushings and hardwear has sorted it right out.

I can't see what is going on here, but things can "appear" to be out of align, but once you snug things up, it all squares up.
