    Banshee T-Shirts

How pissed do you think the Banshee folks would be if I had a dozen banshee t-shirts printed and sold them for cost & shipping???

My thought is either a dark grey-heather or black with black print (stealth and super stealth!) like this:

    Or this:

    Name: shrit black.jpg

    Name: shirt black.jpg

Size: 17.5 KB Back

    Banshee T-Shirts

I can't speak for Banshee, but I think that was the way Barspin was doing softgoods, with Banshee's knowledge and consent. I want a T-shirt, and if Keith's cool with it, I'm in. I don't really like the way heather Ts look, but I like your idea otherwise. I think it would look great on a solid dark gray shirt.

    I Emailed Banshee the following:

I don't normally like my clothes to advertise for anyone, but for some reason I want a Banshee t-shirt.

I was thinking of having one made for me, but it's expensive to have just one made, so I thought that if I had a few dozen made I could sell them for cost & shipping.

Here are my two ideas, simple is better: Banshee T-Shirts

Not sure if you condone such activities, but if you guys aren't going to bother producing something soon would you care if I had some made? If you want I could tack on a couple dollars to each shirt sold and send it to you!

I can think of three other people beside myself that would be interested. I like either style, but the stealth is badass.

Do some searching around Unrooted, there were some pretty sweet ideas thrown around in a thread a while back on this same thing, might have been the Barspin stuff, can't remember.

Lynx, I just found that one, I wouldn't personally wear anything I saw on that thread, also it doesn't appear as though Barspin is still doing the shirts.

I normally wear plain black, gray or white tees, but I have seen some sweet stealth black logo on black tees that look like the frames that Banshee Makes.

    How bout a fur coat?

Seriously tho, I'd be in for one L. Two if there's some other color options.

So if I get approval from Banshee then I'll need to ensure that I get 24 confirms and sizes. I prefer the second design but I like both colors. I think if we go with the same tee (brand) and can all agree on which design (the front only will be cheapest. . .) then I think I can get them for around $16 plus shipping. I would just use a Priority flat rate for $5.75 (I think they'll fit in that).

I would be completely transparent about costs-I'm not trying to make a buck off of Banshee's back.

    The cost would cover:

    -T-shirt, around $10-13
    -Screen Design-around $50
-California State Taxes-I have to pay it so you would "get to" as well!
-Screen Printing-$3-4 per side for single color (I think)
-Cost to ship to whatever lame town you live in from my lame town in California
    -Paypal Fee
-XXL will probably be couple dollars more.

What's the screen design fee for Unrooted? Ask as if it's just the vector image of the logo(s), I have them all, but more expect it's for creating the actual screen(s). I'd get one 'cept I don't really do Ts anymore since I found Cool-Wick type Ts, not down here in my climate at least.

The Screen Design is to "burn" the screen that is used, it's a one time charge-so if people wanted a batch of seperate colors we wouldn't have to pay it again!

I found the PDF you put on the other forum. If you want a cool wick tee I can ask about it.

When I lived in Belize I found the polyester sport tees to just stick to me like cellophane, have you found better ones? I ended up wearing the lightest weight cotton tees I could find and the lightest color and weight cotton pants. Before that I always wore synthetics for climbing and biking! In the summer time here I only wear cheap white t-shirts, the sun is brutal in the Eastern Sierras.

Like the second design better with banshee in front and logo on back. How about a fluroyellow or orange? My bike is stealth alrdy ideally I want to be wearing something bright to be seen...

That said I am interested in the current design alrdy.

We might be able to get any color you guys want, not entirely sure yet. I went to talk to the screen printer and surprisingly he is really busy. I'm going back on Friday, hopefully he can give me a solid quote for you guys. I won't be able to get the shirts printed until I get sizes, money and the design down.

If you are dead set on getting one send me a private message through this site and I'll email you my paypal info-after I get the prices figured out. Also send me your countries info and I'll try to figure out the cost of shipping it to you.

For Paypal I won't be doing that "send it as a gift" B.S., cause then the buyer has zero recourse if they feel like they got ripped.

I'm thinking for shirts a lightweight cotton like this: Anvil Knitwear | Adult Lightweight Tee

The screen printer will let me know what is similar and cheap! I have had several shirts made from the guy for work, I work for a County Agency, and he has always done good work in my opinion.

A couple of years ago a users here made T shirts/jerseys and sold them at no profit and Banshee was supportive of it so I don't see why they would have a problem now.

I am in for a Med depending on the t-shirts you get. Do you have a sizing chart or have you not decided on the shirts yet? I like the plain grey the best but am in for either.

Only been wearing this stuff since I started MTBing, so less than 10 years, but all the stuff I've got feels just like cooton as far as sticking or not to you. I wear NIKE Dry Fit, Under Armor, Adidas, Champion, cheap stuff out of Target, all work well and are cool to me. Will see once you get a final price and shipping etc if I'm interested, as honestly prices in the US seem about double to what I can get them for here. FYI, I do like the faded design I did, thinkit would look sweet on a black or dark grey T.

I'm having a hard time finding what I would consider an affordable shipper, so far I've only looked via the internet.

    USPS= $25
    UPS Worldwide Saver =$100+
    Fedex= $100 +

Anyone have advice on how to ship for cheap to other countries??? I'll try to go to the Post Office to find the cheapest way.

Hopefully the US$ is really cheap for you guys right now!

I just counted up everyone that has PM'ed so far- I have a "confirmed" 14, plus 2 for me, so 16 shirts. The screen printer will only do a minimum of 24.

I'll talk to him tonight after work, or tomorrow if he's already left. Hopefully prices will be decent and shipping to other countries is low enough.

Kudo's to you Keith, great attitude for a company to have, and its a great compliment to you people want to wear gear with your name on it, and theres nothing better than free advertising on the trails.

Keith, ive got a new advertising motto for you ''BANSHEE - WE SCREAM FOR YOU'' What do you think

OP i like your designs, a black shirt with banshee written across the front in the traditional banshee font would look sweet, its the best looking font in the business.

    cheers

Just got back from the Screen Printer!

Gildan Men's 4.5 oz. SoftStyle Lightweight
Logo will be just on the light side of black for all t-shirts
"banshee" on the front around 10" across at nipple level
"b" logo on back around 4" across at upper back

Colors will available in Charcoal (not heather), Black, Antique Saphire (heather) and Red.

See Colors and Sizing here: https://www.alphashirt.com/cgi-bin/o...urrentColor=51

I still havent' completely figured out the cheapest shipping, but it looks like there is a way to do USPS for around $16 to Hong Kong, Sweden, Australia.

I will charge you whatever the actual shipping cost is, and if I need to buy envelopes/boxes I'll charge whatever that is as well ($1-$2)

So the shirts will cost $8 for regular sizes and $9 for XXL! No Taxes!

If I can't get 24 shirts ordered then it will be off, sorry guys. But 4 of these will be for me, I like all 4 colors I chose, even though I'll look like a dork for wearing the same shirt...

Shipping to US peoples will be $5.75 in a priority flat rate envelope or box, unless you order more than 1 shirt.

I'm not being charged a screen printing set up, or taxes!

If someone pays me and this all falls through then I PROMISE TO REPAY YOU BACK WHATEVER YOU PAY ME!!! I'll use Paypal.

Maybe you should look at the likes of Zazzle, where you just put up the artwork and thenpeople order for themselves and pay for shipping etc.

I was thinking of doing that first, but the prices are insane, $30 for a t-shirt!

For those in the U.S. you're looking at $15 +/- a buck for a shirt shipped.

So what I'm going to do is have each of you pay $10 per shirt right now, via Paypal. On Monday I'll order as many shirts as I get orders for.

Next I'll bill you for whatever the actual cost of shipping and packaging is. I'll Ensure the total for the shirt packaging, Ebay fees and shipping equal whatever you guys pay me.

If you feel like buying me a beer I'll take it. . .

Thank you for organizing this! Where on the website could I see the size chart? Have yet to locate the chart but extra small or youth size wouldn't be a problem? Thanks again!

The size chart is here: Specifications

I don't think they do xs, but I can look into youth sizing, what size in youth would that be? Large?

Sorry to be anal. The body length if I were to measure from existing shirt would be from the top to waist (on the back)? And sleeve length would be ? Thank you.

Sleeve length is from center of neck to shoulder to end of sleeve.

Back is center of back from neck to bottom-waist.

    Hope that helps!

I would be up for 2 larges, in charcoal. And, if the screen printer can do it, a one youth large, and a youth medium.

Thanks for doing this! PM to be sent shortly.

The screen printer is pretty flexible, as long as I get the minimum 24 shirts I'm pretty sure he won't have a problem with the youth sizes, they will likely be around the $8 still per shirt.

Charge everyone an extra $.50-$1 to pay for one for the Banshee owners. Let me know when you are ready to roll.

So far I have received payment for the shirt part of this from 7 people for 13 shirts!

If you want a shirt PM me and I'll get you my paypal info

If you have already PM'ed me and I didn't get back to you, sorry, but please PM me again. MTBR doesn't let me PM more than once per minute, so I know I missed one person yesterday, but I just shot you a PM HELLBELLY!

So far 17 people have ordered up the shirts they want, for a total of 34, plus however many I decide to get myself.

I'm going to go to the Screen printer today to get the shirts ordered. I'll let you know if there are any updates!

I will get the shirts printed then send you a bill later for the postage, price will be dependent on what country and how many shirts it will cost

Shirts arrived this morning to the Screenprinter , he says he'll start on them early next week!

The blue is bright, comparing it to the monitor it looks the same, but in real life it's brighter than I had envisioned. I'm pretty sure it will look sweet once the logo is in place!

Meh. A few days late hardly qualifies you as a MTBR liar. When you get into > 1 year delay territory like Homebrew Components and some of the failed custom builders then we will talk.

    Hey guys,

I've been slacking on this, sorry, partly due to the shi&ty hours of our post office here (Post Office in Big Pine, CA - USPS Hours and Location), and having to work through lunch.

I have sent out 9 invoices this morning, will hopefully be able to go to the post office at lunch on Monday to figure out shipping to international addresses.

3 out of 17 of the orders are F&CKED up, and I'll be emailing the individuals affected (due to sizing and color screw ups from the print shop). Everyone I invoiced is good to go though. The others will get at least one of their shirts, unless they are okay with a different color and/or size. . .

Sorry about this guys. Thought it would be easier, winter was really slow at work, now that the weather has warmed up we have started quite a few projects.

I can come up with more lame-as$ excuses if they'll make you feel any better, just let me know.

I havent either guys and I'm not interenational shipping. Give him some time, its pretty obvious he's busy and he did this on his own. He's using his own free time to help everyone out and make up some shirts.

I will be rocking my blacked out one tomorrow. It will match my new Rune which should arrive next month. I am happy to have matching attire for my soon to be monster truck of rolling Black Death. Great job and thanx.

SO. . . I'm sick of having this constantly be in the back of my mind, It's even hard to get sleep at night knowing that I haven't been able to take care of these shirts.

What I'm going to do is (basically f*ck myself) and send the shirts out, when you get them pay me via paypal whatever the postage on the package says. I am definately not rich, but I won't starve if I lose a bit of money, just means I won't be able to buy the new bike shoes I need this month. . .
