Sorry another question... If the chainstay difference between the 26 and 27.5 drop out is 10 cm... I can technically move my wheel in 10 cm to see if it fits in the 26 drop out? Am I missing something with this?

10mm and you could but it will be difficult to get the exact position right. I ran a 27.5 x 2.4 Hans Dampf in my 26" dropouts. Could only use the slack position though, couldn't get clearance in neutral or steep.

New banshees out at Eurobike. Apparently they shaved off 1 lbs. with the use of hydroforming...

Thanks for the feedback guys. I got the 26 drop out and I am currently running 2.25 Hans dampf but I think this is all I can fit due to my rim being a little wide to begin with (arc 30). Feels awesome with that shorter chainstay though!

Another question. I'm currently running 170 mm fork and according to my phone app, I'm rocking a 63 degree HA! Holy DH... I wonder if 160 would do me better... a little more balanced, a little lower BB... thoughts? Or will it make minimal difference and I should just run it chopper style...

    Listen!

Getting ready to go from 26 to 27.5 on my spitty.
Are there any issues with running my 2x9 on the newer hubs?
    I don't want any surprises.

Just realized its not the spitfire thread.
Will I have any issues with my 9 speed cassette on any "new" hub?

I'm on 30t for where I ride. I climb so I can ride down ;-)

When I get my next cassette I may opt to go 32t.

Haha I only answer your questions. Enjoying the rune? My recent project has my 26 inch drop outs with 27.5 wheels. Game changer!

Can you guys go and measure your BB height for me. With 27.5 wheels, DHF/Hans dampf tires I get 13.75... almost 350 mm! Seems a bit high. Not sure how you get to 13.3 as advertised

My 2013 is 14" center of BB to the ground. 27.5 in slack mode and 160mm 26" Fox 36 also has a Magic Mary SG in front and a Aggressor DD in back.
I like to fart when I'm in front of you on a climb

I think this is the only disadvantage converting a Rune from 26" to 650b - the BB is rising!

I have a quick question: i have a SHIMANO XTR SM-BB93 bottom bracket installed, running a 1x10 setup. As we have a 73mm BB here, do i run ONE spacer on the drivetrain side? I only researched info for running one when using a 2x setup in front... thanx!

His name is Ethan, owner of Dirt Merchant Bicycles bike shop . Official for Banshee and Knolly.
I been working in Malaysia from 2013 up to May this year and I got from him Banshee Phantom frame with monarch XX and MRP fork, Knolly Warden frame with CCDB inline and Pike fork. Recently, already been in Russia, got from him MRP Raze shock for my wife's CB Riot.
Even with custom fees banshee frame from Ethan came cheaper, then Fakawi Tribe, official distributor banshee for Malaysia offered me.
    Highly recommend.
I Approve this message I bought my AMP from Ethan!! I already had my Rune before I found him.
